The Silk Road Introduces….. original band night.  After the success of the original band night earlier in the year,  we are delighted to introduce …..

The Carnival
20 plus years ago there was a band called Carnival of Thieves, people left and were replaced by Joolz, Johnny F.D. and Harris (in that order) 20 years later there is a band called The Carnival a more friendly, funny set of musical bastards you will never hope to find.5 albums, 1 E.P. and many, many jaunts around the world later they’re still here doing what they do best, playing loud rock/blues and having fun, it HAS to be fun ( they leave boredom to the serious, face pulling, shoe gazing bands/musicians).

Coyote Mad Seeds
Hailing from Sheffield, UK, Coyote Mad Seeds formed as a three piece in the summer of 2010, and have been going as a four piece since 2019 after recruiting Nathan Mace on guitar.
The band gigged around their home city of Sheffield in such legendary venues as The Dove and Rainbow and Corporation. They also provided support for the likes of legendary Uli Jon Roth, Diamond Head and the late great Bernie Tormé. The guys decided to take themselves on tour around South Yorkshire, aptly named ‘World Tour… of Yorkshire’.
In July 2013, they released their debut album ‘Skin and Bone’. It received a great reception from promoters and fans.

Molly Karloff
Formed from the remnants of other bands who shared the same Oxfordshire rehearsal studios, Molly Karloff, named after the imaginary, belligerent grand-daughter of famous alternative actor, Boris Karloff, headed straight for the studio with fresh material for their debut EP.
Recorded live at Cream Studios in London, with producer Richard Aitken, and drawing upon a wide range of influences, the raw, hook-laden guitars were married with the bass grooves to produce a unique sound that some have described as lying somewhere between Clutch, Rage Against The Machine & Alice In Chains.
The new band, with new material and energy, released their debut EP, ‘Dancing For Money’ in September 2018 to a chorus of approval, together with an inclusion in the ‘Top 10 EPs of 2018’ by Manchester Rocks. The band followed up with a heavy campaign of live shows in support.
Described as a ‘no-holds-barred sucker punch!’ by Down The Front Media, and with a ‘big sound that drags the listener to the table’ by Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine the band rapidly attracted attention on their local live circuit. Building on their local popularity, the band began to tour across the country, culminating in their debut live appearance in London only a couple of months after their debut show. The band continue to play live and write more material for further recording releases in 2019.
